Harlequin's Antique Glaze is a waterbased decorative glaze for creating an aged or distressed effect to painted surfaces. It makes the base colour dirtier creating an aged appearance. Ideally it should be applied over Harlequin's Ultra Matt in the colour of your choice. Light colours work best with the antique glaze and dark colours work best with the smoke glaze. Once you have “techniqued” your piece of furniture or wall surface it should be sealed using one of Harlequin's waterbased varnishes.
