Harlequin's Gold leaf is a composite gold leaf which comes as loose leaf. We supply it in books of 25 sheets approx 120mm square. Harlequin's Gold leaf is used for all gilding projects. Once a project has been completed it should be varnished using an oil based varnish only.

Harlequin's Gold Size is a milky waterbased size (or glue) used in the process of gilding. Once applied to your surface it remains tacky in order for you to apply your gold leaf over the top.

For a base paint colour use Harlequin's Simply Red from Harlequin's colour range.
